Charming Vintage Home Tour ~ Q is for Quandie

Today I’m so excited to share a charming vintage home tour with you …

… from the blog Q is for Quandie!

Linda is a girl after my own heart, with a love of all things vintage!

Take a look …

Adorable cottage shed makeover by Q is for QuandieThis is Linda’s summer cottage that sits on her property.

She currently uses it as a photo staging area for her furniture makeovers.

French Linen Sideboard by Q is for Quandie… Like this gorgeous sideboard Linda painted in French Linen.

Each and everyone of her furniture makeovers is beautiful.

I love the charm she added with a diamond pattern painted floor!

Flower Box at Home's EntranceA bright and cheery front door welcomes you to Linda’s home.

Bright green foliage in the window box matches the porch door.

The purple coleus adds a dramatic and pretty contrast to the green.

Front Porch with Checkerboard FloorJust inside the front door, a checkerboard floor greets you on the porch.

Classic black and white, softened by white wicker.

Vintage Style Living Room in a Charming BungalowLinda’s living room has beautiful, big windows framed by built-in shelves with her pottery collection.

A wooden ladder and unique coffee table add whimsy to the cozy space.

It’s all perfect for a charming vintage home!

Beautiful piano room with stunning hardwood floorsAdjacent to the living room is a beautiful, spacious piano room.

The hardwoord floors really set off the grand piano.

Horizontal stripes on the walls repeat the lines of the floor planks.

Vintage kitchen in a cozy bungalowMoving into the kitchen, Linda repeated the checkerboard floor pattern from the porch.

The pretty wall color warms the space against the white kitchen cabinets.

And did you notice that fabulous black-painted dresser in the next room? Gorgeous!

Vintage Style Pantry in a Bungalow KitchenHow cute is Linda’s pantry? Pretty cute, right?

I adore the “public phones” sign on the gorgeous windowed door.

Outdoor deck and dining areaOutside, Linda’s charming vintage home has ample deck space with plenty of seating.

What a great place to enjoy warm summer days and cool evenings!

Red Carriage House at Q is for QuandieAnother outbuilding on Linda’s property is this charming carriage house.

Linda holds sales here to sell her beautiful, painted furniture.

I wish I lived closer to her so I could go to the carriage house sales!

Wallpapered and painted linen chestI would buy something beautiful like this wallpapered linen chest.

Be sure to check out all of Linda’s gorgeous painted furniture!

I think you’ll love her charming vintage home over at Q is for Quandie!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my 1904 farmhouse in your Charming Vintage Home Tour! You were right, there are plenty of photos, even though I haven’t yet blogged about my bedrooms, craft/blogging room, dining room … or the world’s tiniest bathroom. Hopefully I will find time to share those on my blog before too long. Thanks for coming for a virtual visit, and to all of your readers, welcome to my home!

  2. Love it all! I could stare at that kitchen for hours. There are so many wonderful details in there. Love that carriage house too. 🙂

    1. This is Linda’s husband. We had a woodworking friend who was over while I was wondering how to mount it. It’s mounted to the studs in the wall and further secured by the “shelf” above it.
