Charming Home Tour ~ Daisy Mae Belle

Today’s charming home tour has loads of vintage appeal and I always enjoying visiting Melissa’s blog over at Daisy Mae Belle (unfortunately, Melissa is no longer blogging). I’m sure many of you are familiar with her talent and style, but it’s always fun to take another look, isn’t it? So without further ado, let’s step inside Melissa’s pretty home!

Summer Front Porch with Lattice Screen for PrivacyLots of interesting details greet you at the front porch!

A lattice screen creates a bit of privacy for the seating area, complete with porch swing.

I love how Melissa added her house numbers to the planter, as opposed to the typical wall placement.

Eclectic Country Style Family RoomInside, you get an immediate feel for the warmth and coziness of Melissa’s vintage style family room.

This looks like the perfect room to relax in with comfy cushions and pillows.

Did you notice the skirted storage unit in the corner? I love the softness it adds to the space.

Vintage Style Dining RoomMelissa carries that vintage softness into her dining room, as well.

The ornate mirror always catches my eye and I love the soft tones in this pretty room.

Country Style Eclectic KitchenPainted kitchen cabinets lighten Melissa’s kitchen with its rustic brick backsplash.

A vintage copper pot takes center stage on the kitchen island.

Country Style Decorating in a Kitchen Dining NookThe kitchen has a cozy dining nook with pretty chandelier.

Master Bedroom at Daisy Mae Belle BlogAn elegant brass bed steals the show in the master bedroom.

A vintage painted trunk creates additional storage at the foot of the bed.

Girl's Vintage Style Bedroom with Chalkboard WallIn one of her daughter’s bedrooms, an entire wall is painted with chalkboard paint.

What kid wouldn’t want a room with a chalkboard wall? Such a clever idea!

Fun and Colorful Charming BedroomAnother daughter’s bedroom has fun and colorful charm.

I love the way Melissa mixes patterned pillows on the bed.

Charming Craft Room at Daisy Mae BelleIs this crafting room adorable or what?? It’s so bright and cheerful!

I wish I had a charming crafting space like Melissa’s.

And do you know where you’ll find her craft room?

Charming Craft ShedIn this equally adorable backyard shed, which used to be a playhouse!

Yes, I’m just a wee bit envious.  {smile}

Backyard Seating Areas Create Great Entertaining SpacesNext to the craft shed are these amazing seating areas in the backyard.

Melissa’s yard is perfect for entertaining and she’s given me some ideas for my own yard.
