Best Halloween Decoration Ever

Are you enjoying All Hallow’s Eve? I don’t really do a lot of decorating for Halloween, but this year I lucked out with the best Halloween decoration ever! No, it wasn’t a flea market or Ebay find. It was something I found outside. Something that gives you warm fuzzies! Something that doesn’t spook you but instead makes you smile every time you see it.

Felix the Cat - the best Halloween decoration ever!Say hello to Felix! We rescued him and he’s such a sweetie-pie. Not at all scary.

Actually, he’s the scared one here. I was vacuuming and found him hiding behind this pitcher.

He’s named after Felix the Cat – my favorite childhood cartoon!

That’s when I realized he’s the best Halloween decoration ever!  A black cat!

We lost one of our beloved cats this year, and Felix has made a nice addition to fill that loss.

Last Halloween I shared my cozy candlelit bubble bath in my claw foot tub.

  1. Felix is adorable! I just love cats – my little Skippy was found along a road when he was tiny – right at the time our 20-year-old cat passed away. He needed us as much as I needed him (he is a black and white “tuxedo” cat). Enjoy your little Halloween kitty! 🙂

  2. Oh Felix is just adorable! We have a precious 18 year old black cat. She has been such a wonderful part of our family. I know Felix will bring you lots of love.
