Charming Home Tour ~ Cedar Hill’s City House

This past week I’ve been up to my eyeballs in Christmas decor, with a goal of getting all the halls decked before Thanksgiving. Why so early? Because the week after Thanksgiving I’m joining a virtual holiday house walk with about 30 other bloggers. But for now, I’m turning an admiring eye toward Anita’s city house at Cedar Hill Farmhouse.

French Country Living RoomA few months ago I featured Anita’s ranch home, and today you get to tour her city home!

True to style, Anita fills her home with beautiful French Country style.

French Country Style Living Room with Slipcovered FurnitureAnita’s charming home is decorated with gorgeous neutrals and linen slip covered furniture.

Warm woods pair seamlessly with textiles in the living room.

French Country Dining RoomAnita’s elegant dining room has plenty of natural light streaming through the windows.

A pretty patterned rug provides warmth underfoot and flounced seat covers add a bit of romance.

Kitchen Island with French Style BarstoolsGorgeous hardwood floors grace Anita’s amazing kitchen with its chandeliers, glass front cabinets, and oversized refrigerator.

French Kitchen at Cedar Hill FarmhouseAnita incorporated quality finishes in her new French Country kitchen.

Puppy seems pretty happy with the new home, too.

French Country StudyI had the pleasure of following the construction process of Anita’s new home on her blog.

I remember seeing these gorgeous doors she chose for her charming study.

Aren’t they fabulous? I love her bamboo rug too (I have 2 just like it)!

Curtained Claw Foot TubA claw foot tub takes residence in one of the bathrooms at Cedar Hill Farmhouse.

A rustic mantel frames the top of the lace curtains.

I love how Anita pairs elegant, feminine textiles with rustic finishes.

French Style Girls BedroomA playful pillow and fuzzy rug add fun color to one of the girls’ bedrooms.

  1. WOW that is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve seen. I love the pretty French country style and that she hasn’t taken it over the top. Too often you see homes where the style is not just defined but smacks you in the face. And that clawfoot tub with the old wooden mantle? To die for!

  2. This is just beautiful from top to bottom, Jennifer! I love Anita’s style and she definitely knows her French Country! The kitchen is absolutely stunning and I really like all of her area rugs with their subtle patterns. Thanks for the tour.

I was admiring your candles on your staircase in Jennifer’s new book and created a few of my own, come visit and see!
