A Stone Farmhouse, an Historic Kitchen Renovation + More: Friday Finds

I’m guessing by now that most of you are seeing signs of spring where you live. Blooming magnolia trees, robins in the yard, spring bulbs peaking up out of the ground, and the wondrous smell of the earth warming up. Even the koi in my pond have started swimming around a bit. I love watching the world wake up after its winter nap. Today I’ve got some fun finds for you, and I think my favorite is the addition made to an old stone farmhouse in Pennsylvania.

I’m looking forward to your pictures from DC. Hoping that your trip is everything that you want it to be. My Dad was born and raised there, so we spent many vacations going there to visit family. After serving in WWII, he drove a cab during college, so he knew all the ways to get around DC and that made it lots of fun. We still have cousins there and are thinking about a trip up to get together in the Fall. I haven’t been there in over 15 years. I’m told not to expect what I remember. I’m sure the cherry blossoms will be as beautiful as ever though!
