Lately I’m becoming more and more drawn to anything made with book pages! Within minutes the words on a book’s page take you to another place and time. The musty smell of an old book with an elegant cover is a sensory pleasure I’ll always treasure. And when you’re done with a book, you can transform it into a work of art. I’ve been collecting books for projects around the house and thanks to Pinterest, I’m finding an unending supply of crafts to make from inexpensive books found at yard sales and thrift stores. Some of the following creations are mine … some belong to others and they’ve been credited.
Have I told you how anxious I am to share my Christmas decor with you? The holiday decorating is done and photos have been taken. I’m waiting until next week to share what I’ve done, but I’m really in the Christmas spirit and feel the need to share something festive. So I’ve rounded up some…
Well, I said I was going to enjoy the peace of November before getting crazy with Christmas, but here I am sharing DIY vintage Christmas cards you can make. And on Monday I shared some favorite ornaments to consider for this year’s tree. You can’t control when the holiday bug is going to bite. …
The Christmas spirit is in the air! Stores have stocked their shelves with holiday decorations and shopping ads appear everywhere you look. I actually ordered a new tree even though I vowed not to. But I really like this one! LOL. I don’t intend to buy a lot of new ornaments, but a few favorite…
Get in touch with your inner feminine self when you embrace festive spirit with a pink Christmas. My daughter is obsessed with pink and each of these inspirational scenes is her idea of the perfect Christmas. A few years ago I gave her all of my pink holiday décor. I don’t think she’ll ever tire…
People seem to fall in one of three types when it comes to decorating a Christmas porch. First is the “bah-humbug” who does nothing at all. Maybe they don’t celebrate the holiday, or maybe (like me) they don’t like removing the decorations in bitter cold weather once Christmas is over. Then there’s the “in-betweener” who,…

How inspirational…I love your butterfly boxes Jennifer. They’ll sell for sure! I really like book page crafts myself and lucky for me my daughter works at Half Price Books and my niece works at a library. Both of them keep me in good supply of pages. “:o) Now to get busy and do something with them. I don’t think I realized you had an etsy shop…I’m going to check it out.

Hey Jennifer! These are all awesome inspiration. Tonight I was just going through some of my old books, deciding what projects to do with them. Love the ornament balls, the pumpkins, the nest and your GARLAND! That has been on my to do list for so long!!!!Fall seems like just the right time for it hopefully. Thanks for all the inspiration.

What fun book page projects, Jennifer! I bought an old dictionary at Goodwill a couple of years ago and I’m still waiting to find some good projects for those pages. I never even thought of looking on Pinterest for ideas.
Very neat projects. Each is unique. I love books and old books even more. I would feel uncomfortable cutting up a book. Where do you get the books for transformatio? Maybe I could cut up paperbacks! I see several projects of interest if I can get over the cutting hesitation. Would love to learn your source. Hugs, Ginger
